Google Earth: Favorite Place

My favorite place in the world to travel is Machu Picchu in Aguas Calientes, Peru. My time in this area consisted of serving the community with the Fuller Center for Housing. Besides falling in with the beautiful views of the ancient Mayan city, I fell in love with the people and how they served each other. It was truly a trip to remember.

Traffic Study - Click link to display spreadsheet

 Traffic Study spreadsheet

Click on above link to find the data spread sheet from my traffic study that was performed at Margaritas Mexican Grill located in Mercer Village. This study revealed the diversity of this area. The study lasted for twenty minutes as I counted the amount of vehicles that drove by. Each vehicle was recorded as well as the number of occupants, type of vehicle, age of the vehicle, and size of the vehicle. From the information that I recorded, I saw that the results proved to be much different than my expectations. For one, I did not expect to count as many vehicles as I did. I also was shocked by the ages of the cars. Considering the area, I expected a much older age of car to be the majority of my data. However, it seems that each age and size was equally distributed for the most part. Another interesting result was that a large number of the vehicles were vans. I can assume that this is related to the location of Alexander II and Mount De Sales in the surrounding community.
